City of Cohoes - 02/03/10 - LOCAL HOUSING AUTHORITY’S SHARE SERVICES The Cohoes Housing Authority and the Watervliet Housing Authority have entered into a management agreement to unite the Executive Director responsibilities of each facility under one person. Charles Patricelli, the existing executive director of the Watervliet Housing Authority, will assume the new responsibilities of directing the Cohoes Housing Authority effective February 1, 2010.   MORE

Albany County Outreach is conducting a HEAP application day on December 29th here at the Watervliet Housing Authority. For more information call the Outreach office at 237-9201. If you think your eligible, you need to bring ID for each person in the household and all income information for each member for the past 30 days. You will also need the current heating bill. There are many different rules that I can’t explain but you should check with the Outreach office or call them. You can always apply at their office at anytime at 20 White Street in Cohoes. There will be another HEAP application day at the Cohoes Housing on January 11th from noon to 3. Please pass this information on to anyone that you think could help. I have also attached a flyer that was given to me that you can put up if you have a good location

 The Cohoes Housing Authority has developed its Agency Plan in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. The Cohoes Housing Authority is preparing its 2009 plan for its public housing, Section 8 and Capital Fund Program for 2007, 2008 and 2009.   It is available for review at the
Authority’s Office located at 100 Manor Sites, Cohoes, NY, 12047.
(The administration office is located off Manor Ave. on Williams St.)
The Authority’s hours of operation are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.  

The Cohoes Housing Authority has amended its 2008 Capital Fund Program 5 Year Plan, for the 2009 Stimulus Package in compliance with the Quality Housing and Work Responsibility Act of 1998. It is available for review at the
 Authority’s Office located at 100 Manor Sites, Cohoes, NY 12047.
 (The administration office is located off Manor Ave. on Williams St.)  
 The Authority’s hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
